In episode 165 of The Physical Performance Show Brad Beer shares a conversation with Meb Keflezighi – 4x US Olympian, New York & Boston Marathon Champion, Silver Marathon Medalist (2004) in this Featured Performer Episode.
Meb Keflezighi is the only runner in history to have won a New York Marathon Title, Boston Marathon Title and Olympic Marathon Medal. In 2004, Meb won a Silver Medal in 2004 Athens Olympic Marathon as well as running at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Marathons. Meb featured in the 10,000m at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. He was the American Record Holder for the 10,000m, running an incredible 27:13 PB across the distance. Meb has PB’s of 13:11 for 5,000m right through to his marathon PB of 2:08:37 set at the 2014 Boston Marathon just a few weeks shy of his 39
th birthday. Meb’s career has been hallmarked by longevity.
